The Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka has announced it will discontinue accepting applications for visa stickers starting 24 December in preparation for the launch of a new e-visa system.
In a statement, the embassy confirmed that applications for visa stickers submitted before 24 December will still be processed as usual.
Beginning 2 January 2025, all Thai visa applications must be submitted exclusively through the e-Visa portal at http://www.thaievisa.go.th.
The transition to the e-visa system is intended to streamline and modernize the visa application process, offering greater convenience and efficiency for applicants.
