The sentence of Dr Zubaida Rahman, the wife of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, has been suspended for three hundred and sixty five days subject to prerequisites.
The suspension became given in a notification at present time (2 October) issued by the Security Services and products Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Abu Saeed Mollah.
In line with the notification, Dr Zubaida Rahman’s petition within the hunt for the suspension became granted on a one-year condition of surrendering and attention-grabbing forward of the associated court docket.
Zubaida Rahman has to resign in court docket, according to the Division of Security Services and products.
She obtained a three-year penal complex term in connection with a corruption case initiated by the Anti Corruption Commission in 2007.
