SB Police apologises for airport incident involving ‘harassment’ of New Age Editor Nurul Kabir

The Special Branch (SB) of Police has expressed remorse over the incidents at Hazrat Shahjalal Global Airport, the establish New Age Editor Nurul Kabir reported being careworn by police officers.

In response, the SB launched an investigation into the subject and withdrew the officer accused of misconduct, in step with the Chief Adviser’s Press Flit.

In accordance with the SB, the incident stemmed from a “blocked checklist” created for the length of the previous administration led by Sheikh Hasina.

On 23 November CA’s Press Flit stated, “We sincerely remorse the incident.” The Chief Adviser, Professor Yunus, also ordered an investigation into the incident.
