Rizvi, Gayeshwar among 102 BNP men exempted from charges in Special Powers Act case

A Dhaka court nowadays (24 September) exempted 102 leaders and activists of BNP, along with its senior joint secretary same old Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed and standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy from the costs in a case lodged underneath the Particular Powers Act, 1974.

Police filed the case on 30 January 2018 for allegedly obstructing the law enforcement companies from conducting their responsibilities and vandalising automobiles. Payment-sheet became filed against 102 accused on 28 January 2020.
