India has removed the renowned painting of Pakistan’s 1971 resign in Bangladesh from its Military Chief lounge and modified it with a current painting titled  ‘Karam Kshetra – Field of Deeds’.

The present painting portrays the Indian military as a “guardian of Dharma, stopping no longer merely as a defender of the nation but to uphold justice and shield the nation’s values”, and moreover captures the Military’s evolution into a “technologically developed, built-in pressure”, says The Hindu.
