No discussion on state reforms with ‘genocidal’ Awami League: Law adviser

The intervening time govt is now not going to maintain any dialogue on direct reforms with the Awami League, which committed genocide all the contrivance through the coed-mass revolt, Legislation, Justice and Parliament Affairs Adviser Asif Nazrul acknowledged this day (19 September).

The adviser also acknowledged this day’s assembly made up our minds that the six reform commissions will put up their file to the government on 31 December.

“The reports will seemingly be revealed online after being reviewed by the Advisory Council,” he acknowledged.
“The strategy of appointing the diversified people of the commissions, their scopes and the procedures had been also discussed in this day’s assembly,” acknowledged Asif.

The regulation adviser acknowledged the valuable aim of the reform works will seemingly be to restore democracy and reform the direct equipment and abolish the fascist system permanently.

Referring to the reorganisation of the Election Commission, he acknowledged, “Work on restructuring the EC will open after the CA returns from the US.”

Earlier this month, CA Yunus announced that six reform commissions are situation to be formed. The commissions are situation to open work from 1 October and can put up their reports within three months.

Badiul Alam Majumdar, secretary of Shushashoner Jonno Nagorik (Shujan), will chair the Electoral Machine Reform Commission; Safar Raz Hossain, a veteran secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, will lead the Police Administration Reform Commission; Justice Shah Abu Naeem Mominur Rahman will head the Judiciary Reform Commission; Dr Iftekharuzzaman, executive director of Transparency World Bangladesh, will lead the Anti-Corruption Reform Commission; Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, the newly appointed chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airways, will head the Public Administration Reform Commission; and Ali Riaz will lead the  Structure Reform Commission.
