The intervening time authorities formed the EC on 21 November, making odd secretary Nasir Uddin the CEC.

On 5 September, the old EC, led by Kazi Habibul Awal, stepped down from the put up amid severe criticism for his or her controversial roles in retaining elections, along with the 2024 national election.
