The newly appointed chief election commissioner (CEC) and four other commissioners are inclined to take oath on Sunday afternoon.
Shafiqul Islam, public family officer of the Supreme Court, said the oath-taking ceremony is liable to be held at 1:30pm on Sunday.
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed is supposed to problem up the swearing-in ceremony.
Earlier on Thursday, worn secretary AMM Md Nasir Uddin used to be appointed as CEC of the Bangladesh Election Commission.
In conjunction with him, four election commissioners had been also named.
The commissioners are worn extra secretary Md Anwarul Islam Sarker, worn district and classes judge Abdur Rahman Masud, worn joint secretary Begum Tahmida Ahmad and Brigadier Regular (retd) Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah.
President Mohammad Shahabuddin appointed them following piece 118 (1) of the Constitution.
