The first section of Netflix’s highly anticipated adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez’s literary classic One Hundred Years of Solitude will premiere on 11 December 11, reviews Rolling Stone.
The adaptation, which has been in the works for years, will unfold over 16 episodes, with the second section space to debut at a later, unannounced date.
The restricted sequence, according to García Márquez’s 1967 magic-realism masterpiece, follows the Buendía family by just a few generations, portraying their struggles, triumphs, and the cyclical nature of their lives in the legendary town of Macondo.
