The Muktijuddher Bijoy Mela is set to commence on 9 December at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram.
The Mela Celebration Parishad announced that a decision will be made within two days on whether the fair will continue until 16 December or extend to 31 December.
Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Begum Farida Khanam is the convener of the fair celebration council, with freedom fighter, artist, and organiser Ahmed Newaz as the member secretary.
Hasan Maruf Rumi, joint member secretary of the Bijoy Mela Parishad, said Liberation War Affairs Adviser Farooq-e-Azam is the chief patron of the event.
Organised by the Bijoy Mela Parishad, the fair will feature discussions, cultural programmes, children’s painting sessions, a photo exhibition, a book fair, a tree fair, and stalls for crafts and local products.
