Metro rail resumes full operation after 11-hour suspension

The Dhaka metro rail carrier returned to fashioned after a short-term suspension of about 11 hours on the Agargaon to Motijheel route due to technical components this day (18 September).

Paunchy operation resumed from 8:25pm after resolving the technical glitch, the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Minute (DMTCL) acknowledged on its verified Fb web page.

The prepare operations were mercurial suspended on the Agargaon to Motijheel route from 9:40am this day. However, trains were peaceful operating on the Uttara to Agargaon share.

Nasir Uddin Ahmed, director (operation and maintenance) of the DMTCL, acknowledged, “One among the four bearings below a viaduct in the Khamarbari home used to be displaced in the morning. Upon receiving records, a technical crew promptly started repair work.

“By evening, they successfully reinstalled the bearing and after that the prepare carrier resumed.”
