Lalmonirhat executive magistrate made OSD

Tapashee Tabassum Urmi, an executive magistrate in Lalmonirhat district, has been made Officer on-Special Duty (OSD).

She has been attached to the Ministry of Public Administration.

A gazette notification, signed by Nilufa Yeasmin, senior assistant secretary of the ministry, was issued in this regard yesterday evening (6 October).

Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner HM Raqib Haider confirmed the matter.

Tapashee came under on fire on social media centring a post she made earlier on martyr Abu Sayeed as a terrorist.

Terming him a terrorist, she said he had died in the hands of “his own people creating anarchy”.

“Will this stupid society take responsibility for the innocent police officials who had been killed using the excuse of Abu Sayeed’s death? Now we have to accept this anarchist as a martyr. What an irony!” wrote Tapashee.

In yet another post, she wrote, “The chief adviser of the interim government which has no constitutional base told a push has been made on reset button, history got erased. He has removed all histories of the county by clicking the reset button. Is it too easy! your [Yunus] countdown has started, Sir.”
