Labourers did not get their fair share in country’s dev: Debapriya

Labourers have not but got their rightful portion in the pattern of Bangladesh over the past decade, stated Debapriya Bhattacharya, head of the committee for drafting a white paper on the country’s economy.

After a gathering with labour leaders lately (30 September) in the Planning Commission, Debpriya stated labour leaders indulge in identified that the wages given to the employees are insufficient.

Now, we are having talks with social groups, entrepreneurs, and labour representatives. Next, discussions shall be held with foreign investors and pattern partners. We are in a position to also conduct metropolis hall conferences in Chattogram, Rajshahi, and Sylhet, except for Dhaka. In accordance with every person’s feedback, we can draft our document.”
