A crew of the Bangladesh Military and the police arrested them at some level of a joint operation within the early hours of Friday (29 November), Mohammadpur Police Position Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ali Iftekhar Hasan confirmed the topic.

Pills and weapons were seized from the arrestees at some level of the operation, he added.

The OC additionally said Altaf, proprietor of Boba Biryani, and his son Irfan are ringleaders of a drug peddling gang.
