Eastern Top Minister Shigeru Ishiba said on Wednesday the authorities will aim to assemble a supplementary budget after the decrease condo election anticipated to be held later this month.
Ishiba made the comment in a debate with opposition party leaders. He’s slated to dissolve parliament later on Wednesday and contact a snap election on Oct. 27.
The supplementary budget is prone to be spent on peril relief for areas hit by a mountainous earthquake in January, and for measures to cushion the blow to households from rising living prices.
