Janata Bank files Tk2,000cr loan default case against S Alam Group

Janata Monetary institution PLC has filed a loan default case against S Alam Neighborhood, the controversial and prominent enterprise conglomerate within the country, as two of its companies beget failed to repay Tk10,000 crore they took as loans.

The bank filed the case this morning (1 December), confirmed Rezaul Karim, bench assistant of the Money Mortgage Court in Chattogram.

In the previous, kins and firms of the S Alam Neighborhood took loans price approximately Tk10,000 crore from two branches of Janata Monetary institution in Chattogram beneath varied names.
