The graduation ceremony of the National Defence Course 2024 and Armed Forces War Course 2024 unfolded with grandeur in the DSCSC Complex in Dhaka today (4 December).
Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus was the chief guest at the ceremony. The chief adviser congratulated all course members of the National Defence Course and Armed Forces War Course, commending their successful completion of the courses.
He expressed his satisfaction with the high standard of the National Defence College’s curriculum, emphasising its comprehensive coverage of diverse aspects crucial to national security and development.
Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, commandant of the National Defence College, expressed profound indebtedness and gratitude to the chief adviser for gracing the occasion with his presence.
He acknowledged the chief adviser’s encouragement as a driving force for the National Defence College to pursue excellence in security and development studies for the betterment of Bangladesh.
This year, the National Defence Course 2024 comprised 95 course members, including 46 members from the armed forces, 16 members from civil services, and 33 international members from 18 friendly countries. Simultaneously, the Armed Forces War Course 2024 marked the graduation of 55 distinguished course members from the Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, and Bangladesh Air Force.
