Govt warns foreigners living illegally in Bangladesh, asks them to become legal immediately

The federal government issued a round nowadays (8 December) warning the total foreigners residing in Bangladesh illegally and asking them to affect fair permits to cease in the nation.

The house ministry issued the round, signed by Special Assistant to The Chief Adviser on Residence Affairs Md Khoda Bakhsh Chowdhury and Senior Secretary of the Security Services Division of house ministry Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen, after Residence Affairs Adviser Lt Col (Retd) Jahangir Alam expressed verbalize about foreigners staying and dealing illegally in Bangladesh.

“We’re receiving complaints that many foreigners dwell and dealing in Bangladesh illegally. We’re soliciting for them to today rob steps to affect fair permits for staying in the nation. Otherwise, fair steps might be taken against them,” the round reads.

In step with government sources, many international nationals from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Nepal are staying illegally in Bangladesh, who’re working in the RMG and other sectors on vacationer visas without fair permits.
