Google Maps shows straight road, 3 fall from under-construction bridge and die in India

Three Indians beget died after following a Google Maps route that led their automobile to an under-construction bridge, with the automobile plunging sincere into a river in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district, says India At the moment.

The incident came about on Saturday when the victims, two of whom were identified as Vivek and Amit, started their rush from Gurugram and were headed to Bareilly to back a bridal ceremony. The males were counting on Google Maps to attain the venue when their GPS led them to the unfinished flyover.

The auto travelled on the bridge and fell into the Ramganga, a shallow river, from a high of 50 toes.

Locals chanced on the broken automobile the next morning and the three males who were boring. They told the police, who then arrived at the location and took the bodies for a put up-mortem examination.

The auto went to the incomplete bridge and fell sincere into a river from there,” police said.

“The bodies were chanced on and introduced for put up-mortem. The identities of two contributors, Amit and Vivek, were confirmed. Extra information on the identification of the third one are being labored on,” police added.

The family of the victims blamed the eager officials for the incident and puzzled why the bridge used to be unfinished, and no barricades were installed at one extinguish of the construction.

They said that an FIR ought to be lodged against the construction department for alleged negligence.
