Ghosts of dictatorship are not sitting idle: Hasnat Abdullah

The ghosts of dictatorship are not sitting inactive and have threatened the nation with communal riots, Hasnat Abdullah, coordinator of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement stated this day (8 September).

“The accomplices of fascism need to approach wait on wait on in utterly different guises. But we must always dwell united against them,” he stated at a see-change programme organised by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement at Laldighi Maidan in Chattogram.

Hasnat also stated, “Capitalising on the students’ revolution, many are extorting and tendering. This can’t be allowed to continue.”

Praising the bravery of students in Chattogram at some level of the July uprising, Hasnat stated, “The stream in Dhaka became about to cease in the heart. For the time being, the stream again obtained momentum from Chattogram.

“No coordinator became wished right here to mount a right stream against a dictator. Any more in Chattogram, all people looks to be a coordinator and a co-coordinator.”
