Five top administrative officers of the private-jog Premier College in Chattogram submitted their resignation letters to the college’s registrar on Friday (6 December) within the face of snort by students.
The officers embody Vice Chancellor Prof Anupam Sen, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Kazi Shamim Sultana, Treasurer Prof Toufiq Syed, Proctor Ahmed Rajib Chowdhury and Student Welfare and Human Handy resource Director Khurshidur Rahman.
They submitted their resignation letters to Registrar Md Iftekhar on Friday evening, he confirmed to The Alternate Standard at night time.
“All of them submitted the resignation letters citing private causes,” Iftekhar told TBS. “The letters will quickly be despatched to the division eager.”
Their resignation comes amid real protests by the college’s students within the final two days, anxious the resignation of the VC. The protesting students locked the college’s gate on Thursday (5 December) and supplied a total shutdown.
