Ferry movement resumed after almost 9 hours at Paturia-Daulatdia

The ferry plug resumed between Paturia-Daulatdia after practically 9 hours of suspension ensuing from dense fog, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia-Ghat sources stated.

The Deputy Current Manager (DGM) BIWTC Paturia Ghat Nasir Mahmud Chowdhury knowledgeable BSS the ferry plug became suspended at 12.30 am for miserable visibility as the dense fog blanketed the river mattress, along side that the ferry plug resumed at 9am this day (11 December).

BIWTC sources stated about 150 autos along side passenger buses, Private autos, and goods-weighted down autos were ready for ferrying on both aspect of the Padma.

Two ferries Shah Ali and Dhanshiri were anchored in the center of the Jamuna River with autos and passengers.

DGM also stated the full ferries are working now on the total.
