A person in Faridpur has been arrested for stealing a non-public automobile that he had previously owned and later sold.
The accused, Md Mehedi Hasan, 26, used to be arrested on 6 October from the Jajira hiss of Shariatpur.
Constant with Faridpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Abdul Jalil, the stolen automobile, a non-public automobile, used to be taken from a garage in Goalchamot Wireless Para, Faridpur, on 25 September.
Talking at a press conference on the arrest, SP Abdul Jalil said, “On 25 September, around 10am, a non-public automobile owned by Saiful Islam Hridoy used to be stolen from a garage in Goalchamot Wireless Para. The owner lodged a complaint with the local police. Based mostly fully on files, police arrested Mehedi Hasan from Nawdoba, Jajira in Shariatpur on Sunday. At some stage in interrogation, he confessed to the theft, and the stolen automobile used to be recovered from Dhaka on Monday.”
Apparently, the police printed that the auto originally belonged to Mehedi.
He had bought the auto with a buddy but later sold it, maintaining a copy key with him.
The usage of this spare key, he stole the auto from the garage.
“The arrested particular person will probably be produced before the court as per the law,” SP Jalil added.
