The government has appointed faded senior secretary M Aslam Alam as the fresh chairman of the Insurance protection Style and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).
The Ministry of Finance issued a spherical in this regard on Monday (9 September).
Aslam has been appointed on a contractual foundation for a three-year term or till he turns 68 years extinct.
The post of IDRA’s chairman grew to develop into vacant following Mohammad Jainul Bari’s resignation as chairman of the insurance protection regulator on 5 September.
Bari became made chairman of the insurance protection regulator in June 2022 for a three-year term.
M Aslam Alam is the Tenth chairman of the IDRA.
