English learning app Parlo launched in Bangladesh

Parlo, a new mobile app designed to make the journey to learning English easy and enjoyable, was formally launched in Bangladesh today (24 November) at the Lakeshore Hotel.
Parlo aims to remove barriers and create an engaging and accessible platform for English language learning, fostering personal and professional growth globally, reads a press statement.
Written, filmed and produced in London, Parlo provides cinema-quality bite-sized videos and engaging practice activities written by UK-based English language teachers, making language learning both entertaining and effective.
The event featured key speakers, including Professor Craig Mahoney, CEO of Parlo, and EdTech expert Caroline Everard, head of Product and Content at Parlo.
Speaking about Parlo’s vision, Professor Craig Mahoney, said “Parlo’s mission is to unlock the potential within each individual by making conversational English accessible to learners across the globe. In today’s interconnected world, English is not just a language but a gateway to opportunities. By launching in Bangladesh, we are enabling individuals to access a brighter future, equipping them with skills that can change lives and open doors.”
