The lower-off date for filing complaints with the authorities’s Commission of Inquiry to analyze cases of enforced disappearances has been extended to 10 October, as every other of the earlier 30 September lower-off date.
Complaints will also be lodged in writing from 10:30am until 4pm on weekdays until 10 October, in accordance to a notification signed by the associated charge’s Public Kin Officer Nasir Uddin on Monday (24 September).
Victims of enforced disappearances, their relatives, relatives, or any witnesses of the incident, between 6 January 2009 and 5 August 2024, can resort the complaint in person, by put up or via electronic mail.
The charge also said appointments will also be made via the hotline sooner than submitting a complaint for the length of the specified interval.
