Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has said the date for the election could be announced once a consensus on reforms is reached with political parties and the voter list is ready.
The chief would help discussions with the political parties on the suggestions of the commissions, he said in the course of a gathering with World Financial Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva at the UN headquarters in Contemporary York on the sidelines of the annual session of the United Nations Overall Assembly (UNGA) on Tuesday.
Once the consensus on the reforms is reached and the voters list is ready, the date for the election could be announced, he added.
