Efforts underway to stabilise market ahead of Ramadan: commerce adviser

Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin has said executive efforts are going on to stabilise the prices of very critical commodities, namely in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan, urging media professionals to again these efforts.

Speaking at a scholarship cheque distribution event at the Dhaka Reporters Team spirit (DRU) recently (23 November), the adviser said the prices of sugar, oil and onions bear already confirmed a decline due to recent market interventions.
