Extending his greetings to the country’s all participants of the Hindu neighborhood, Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus has said that Bangladesh is a country of communal team spirit.
“Durga Puja is no longer supreme a competition of the Hindu neighborhood… it has now turn into a competition for all. The destruction of unsightly forces and the flamboyant of truth and surprise are the predominant parts of the competition,” he said in a message on the event of Durga Puja, the predominant spiritual competition of the Hindu neighborhood.
Prof Yunus said the structure of the country guarantees equal rights to the people of all religions and castes.
“This country belongs to all of us. This country is a protected home to all no matter caste and faith,” said the Chief Adviser.
He said the meantime govt fashioned by the unheard of insurrection of scholars-workers-hundreds on 5 August is working to present a seize to the wellbeing of all and maintain determined equal rights in spite of caste and faith.

The government has said that law enforcement agencies are sincerely focusing on the safety considerations shared by the Hindu neighborhood.
Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Apurba Jahangir on Tuesday evening said that every Puja mandaps at some level of the country shall be monitored by IP cameras with ample patrolling by the police, Rab, and intelligence agencies.
The government has already supplied a further public holiday on Thursday (10 October) for Durga Puja.
The Durga Puja holiday will now final four days, starting from Thursday.
This extension comes as Friday and Saturday are already govt holidays this month.
“This further holiday has been granted to maintain determined gentle and joyous celebrations of the Durga Puja,” Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Mahfuj Alam said while talking to journalists at the Dhakeshwari Temple on Tuesday morning.
