DSE index soars 1.06%, turnover jumps 26%

The benchmark index of Dhaka Inventory Alternate (DSEX) surged 54 points or 1.06% to 5,197 on the present time (27 November), whereas the turnover jumped 26% to Tk451 crore as consumers participation increased.

On the day, the blue-chip index (DS30) also gained 23 points to attain 1,917.

During the session, 329 points evolved, whereas 37 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

Market insiders eminent consumers shifted to the procuring side as many shares had reached swish ranges attributable to the latest bearish pattern.

This renewed procuring ardour drove the index into certain territory.

NRB Monetary institution led the turnover list, which used to be adopted by Grameenphone, Agni Programs and Bangladesh Transport Corporation.

Sonargaon Textile and International Heavy Chemical hit their respective upper circuit breaker limits, every surging by 10%, whereas Original Line Clothings emerged as the day’s worst performer.
