The Election Reform Rate lately (23 November) heard loads of suggestions in conjunction with narrate presidential election with none local authorities elections, not electing any uncontested candidate, return of no-vote, and guaranteeing transparency of the source of funds.
Rate Chief Badiul Alam Majumder disclosed the solutions at some stage in a press conference on the Election Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital.
He said there had been discussions about conducting the presidential election straight, with many making the suggestion.
He also said there had been talks about making local authorities elections non-partisan and not following the parliamentary system.
Majumder said a tenet came to nominate the Election Rate per political consensus.
The utilization of technology, especially for expatriates, used to be also encouraged at some stage in the assembly.

Meanwhile, some other member of the Reform Rate, Dr Tofail Ahmed, urged conserving local authorities elections ahead of the national elections.

Tofail Ahmed said the idea of civil society is that local elections must be held ahead of the national elections, because conserving local elections will form bigger the capability of the commission.
