Committee formed to assess feasibility of upgrading Titumir College into university

The Ministry of Training has fashioned a 5-member committee to evaluate the feasibility of upgrading Authorities Titumir College in the capital valid into a college.

The announcement used to be made in a notification issued by the Ministry of Training at the moment (3 December).

Per the notification, the committee will evaluation the rationale and feasibility of converting the college valid into a college.

The committee members encompass a manual from the University Grants Rate (Chairperson), the legit vice chancellor (administration) of Dhaka University, a legit-vice chancellor nominated by the vice chancellor of the National University, joint secretary (University-II Division) of the Directorate of Secondary and Larger Training.

The deputy secretary (govt popular university) of the Directorate of Secondary and Larger Training, will again because the member secretary.

Earlier in November, students of the college staged demonstrations in Mohakhali, annoying the government’s acclaim for the college’s elevation to faculty location.

At some point of the protests, they descended on the roads, blockading roads and even allegedly attacking a practice, leaving many passengers injured.

Later, they suspended their pronounce after receiving an assurance from the government that a committee will be fashioned to evaluate the feasibility of converting the college valid into a college.
