Brent crude falls to lowest price in year-and-a-half

The price of the critical global oil contract fell Friday to its lowest level since March 2023 as considerations about late world reveal outweighed a resolution by major OPEC+ exporters to continue voluntary manufacturing cuts.

Around 1610 GMT the tag of a barrel of Brent wrong had fallen 2.2 p.c to $71.07. The price of the critical US contract, WTI, became once down 2.3 p.c to $67.59 per barrel.
