BFF election: Nomination papers available from 9 October

BFF election: Nomination papers within the market from 9 October

The schedule for the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) govt committee elections has been announced. On Monday afternoon, Chief Election Commissioner Mezbah Uddin announced the schedule on the BFF constructing. Nomination papers will be within the market from 9 October and would per chance well furthermore be smooth till 12 October. The papers will also be smooth day-to-day from 10 am to 5 pm.

The nomination paper for the president’s build has been priced at 100,000 BDT. The senior vice-president’s nomination will worth 75,000 BDT, whereas the vice-president’s nomination will worth 50,000 BDT, and the overall member nomination is priced at 25,000 BDT. The submission dates for nomination papers are dwelling for 14 and 15 October.

Scrutiny will be done on 16 October. The last deadline for withdrawal of nominations is from the morning of 19 October till 2 pm on 20 October. Any objections to the nominations will also be submitted on 17 October, with a payment of fifty,000 BDT for the objector.

The last listing of candidates will be printed on 20 October. The election for the BFF govt committee will be held on 26 October. Voting will happen from 2 pm to 6 pm at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka. The effects will be announced after the vote count is done. The BFF govt committee consists of 20 positions in total, including the president, one senior vice-president, three vice-presidents, and 15 govt participants.

Kazi Salahuddin, who has held the build of BFF president for four consecutive phrases, has acknowledged that he’ll no longer contest this election. Tabith Awal and Tarafdar Ruhul Amin fill every announced their candidacy for the BFF presidency. The last voter listing has already been printed. A total of 137 applications were submitted to vote, with 133 being authorised after verification.

A total of 133 councillors will be eligible to vote within the BFF election. These consist of councillors from 8 divisional soccer associations, 58 district soccer associations, 10 Premier League golf equipment, 5 Bangladesh Championship League golf equipment, 18 first-division golf equipment, 8 2d-division golf equipment, 8 third-division golf equipment, 4 high ladies’s league groups, 6 universities, and 5 education boards. Additionally, the referees’ association, coaches’ association, and girls’s sports activities association will every fill one vote.
