The Chamber Court of the Supreme Court’s Appellate Division has issued a standing quo on the 19 November High Court (HC) teach that had asked authorities interested to pause the operation of battery-traipse rickshaws on the streets of Dhaka city within three days.
Settle-in-Chamber Md Rezaul Haque gave the teach this day (25 November) after listening to an appeal filed by the inform seeking a raise on the HC teach, Deputy Attorney Usual Noor Mohammad Azmi told the media.
Talking to the media, Attorney of the petitioner Barrister Sanjid Siddiqui said, “There is no barrier for battery-traipse auto-rickshaws to pressure on the streets of Dhaka due to the Chamber Court’s teach.”
“In addition to issuing a standing quo on the HC teach for one month, the chamber court has also ordered to dissolve of the HC rule within one month,” the legal legit added.
Earlier, the federal government filed an appeal seeking a raise on the High Court’s contemporary teach to discontinue the operation of battery-traipse rickshaws in Dhaka.
The appeal turned into submitted to the Appellate Division’s connected department, the DAG said.
