Bangladesh announce squad for ODI Series, Shanto and Hridoy ruled out

Bangladesh insist squad for ODI Sequence, Shanto and Hridoy dominated out

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has printed the squad for the three-match ODI sequence against the West Indies, with Najmul Hossain Shanto and batter Towhid Hridoy missing out as a result of accidents.

Shanto is restful improving from a groin destroy, and in his absence, Mehidy Hasan Miraz will captain the group for the first time in a fleshy ODI sequence. Hridoy has also been declared unavailable by the BCB’s medical group as he affords with groin issues.

“Hridoy had complained of nervousness in his appropriate groin topic, and subsequent investigations confirmed the presence of a medical situation. He has been suggested to rest, and we’re going to reassess him in two weeks to resolve his readiness to play,” acknowledged BCB Sports activities Doctor Monzur Hossain Chowdhury.

Left-hander Afif Hossain has earned a recall to the ODI squad after a twelve months, having final played in December 2023. Fellow left-hander Zakir Hasan, fragment of final month’s ODI sequence against Afghanistan in the UAE, has been dropped.

Litton Das, Parvez Hossain Emon, Hasan Mahmud, and Tanzim Sakib fill also returned to the squad. In the period in-between, skilled avid gamers Mushfiqur Rahim, restful improving from destroy, and Mustafizur Rahman, on plod away for family causes, will miss the sequence.
