A Dhaka court today (20 September) placed Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Moshiur Rahman on a seven-day remand in a case lodged over the killing of trader Abdul Wadud in the capital’s New Market area during the recent Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saddam Hossain passed the order as police produced Moshiur before the court and pleaded to place him on a 10-day remand in the case.
