Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, public relations officer of Chattogram airport said the gold ornaments — comprising bangles, chains, and white gold chains — were found with passengers Anamika Juthi, a resident of Mirpur, and Mohammad Raihan Iqbal of Raujan, Chattogram.
Juthi had gold bangles taped to her fingers, and they’d the chains around their necks. Extra ornaments were present in their handbags, Khalil added.
The passengers had flown into Chattogram on flight BG-148, which operates on the Dubai-Chattogram-Dhaka route. Since their final destination turn into Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal Worldwide Airport, aviation guidelines required they be despatched onward to Dhaka on the identical flight.
