54 tonnes of hilsa exported to India at $10 per kilogram

About 54 tonnes of hilsa had been exported to India at $10 per kilogram, which is roughly Tk1,200, earlier than Durga Puja.

“Ten exporters exported hilsa in a consignment this day [26 September] by the Benapole land port,” Mahbubur Rahman, fisheries quarantine officer at Benapole Fisheries Set of industrial told The Replace Popular.

Safayet Hossain, joint commissioner of Benapole Customs, said the export agencies are Blueprint International, JS Endeavor, Sajjad Endeavor, Swarnaly Endeavor, Rupali Endeavor, JBS Meals Products, Noman Endeavor, Ahnaf Merchants, Pacific Sea Meals, and Suman Merchants.

Bangladesh Logistics is the C&F agent guilty for clearing the hilsa from the port, the officer added.
