305 rare turtles recovered at Dhaka airport; suspected smuggler arrested

Authorities enjoy arrested a person at the Hazrat Shahjalal Worldwide Airport in Dhaka this day (3 December) on suspicion of smuggling 305 uncommon turtles.

The arrestee used to be identified as Md Abul Kashem, 52, who arrived in Dhaka thru a US-Bangla Airways flight from China.

“Following his arrest, Kashem admitted for the length of interrogation that he had illegally brought the turtles into Bangladesh.
