After the govt.s approval final week, about 277 tonnes of hilsa were exported to India in the final five days during the Benapole port in Jashore.
The fish were exported by 91 trucks from 26 September to 1 October, mentioned Rashedul Sajib Nazir, deputy director of Benapole land port.
Based mostly completely on Benapole port sources, hilsa is being exported for $10 per kg, which is roughly Tk1,200.
