Two people were killed and two others injured when a lined van ploughed thru a total lot of rickshaw vans in the Raniganj Bazar dwelling of Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur district.
The deceased were Abdul Goffar, 68, a fish vendor from Kumarpur Chhatra village in Pirganj, Rangpur, and Anwar Hossain, 50, a rickshaw van driver from Kochgram of Birampur upazila in the district.

Anwar Hossain succumbed to his injuries when he was taken to Ghoraghat Upazila Health Complex.
Two folks injured in the accident were admitted to the well being facility.
Police arrested lined van driver Siddiq, son of Sheikh Osman Ali from Ramnagar in Dinajpur, and seized the lined van, said the SI.
