144 stranded Bangladeshi migrants repatriated from Libya

In a collaborative effort by the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli and the Worldwide Organisation for Migration (IOM), 144 undocumented Bangladeshi migrants stranded in Libya’s Benghazi were repatriated to Bangladesh nowadays (1 October).

The migrants returned dwelling aboard a chartered flight of Buraq Air (UZ 0222), which landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal Worldwide Airport at 7am.

Upon arrival, Ministry of International Affairs and IOM officers welcomed the returnees at the airport.
