1,030 mts rice imported from India thru Benapole in one week

A complete of 1,030 metric tonnes of rice had been imported from India thru Benapole port in one week except the day prior to this (27 November).

In step with the Benapole land port and customs home, 33 rice-weighted down trucks entered the land port from 18 to 27 November.

Deputy assistant officer of Benapole check-post Plant Quarantine Center, Shyamal Kumar Nath, acknowledged some 1,030 metric tonnes of rice had been imported except 27 November.

Three rice-weighted down trucks entered No 31 transhipment yard around 9:30pm the day prior to this (27 November) which is imagined to be the final cargo.

Already the port authorities unloaded the imported rice after finishing the due course of on Thursday morning, acknowledged deputy director Sajib Najib of the port.
